Last week, my mother tried to grill steaks outside. It was 10 degrees with a 20 miles per hour winds. In our desperation to revive the memories and good times of a summer cookout, we jumped the gun a little, and too quick to prepare. The coals are super hot and then died too quickly. The meat will not cook evenly and it was to be completed within. It was the best fresco dining, we've ever had, but it gave us an excuse to gather, and we still had good food.
One of my favorite time to grill out forTailgate parties. Whether big or small they are the best times. The food is more traditional, with hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, potato salad, macaroni salad, oh, my mouth water just thinking about it. There's nothing quite like the taste of a great grilled meat outdoors.
If you are traveling, a tailgate party is often not enough room to pull your full size gas or charcoal grill are behind the car. How do you manage? I suggest always a portable gas grill. They are small, compact, easytransport, will need a small propane or other gaseous fuel source and cook a big pile of meat in no time. Clean up is easy, and it is small enough to lock up in your trunk or truck bed while you go play the game. What could be simpler?
We have a pretty good selection of home improvement stores such as Menards, I am sure, Home Depot and Lowes, they would have. Sports shops would be great even if they venture into sportsAccessories.
